    *** Vegetarian Review *** *** Buffet for a Party of 60 *** So, first off let's just talk about the friendly service. I won't go as far as "wedding-level-greeting" but it was close. Parked right in front. Walked in. And the host saw us looking around and immediately said, "are you here for Leilani's graduation party?" Yup. They took time to remember the guest of honor and didn't just point to where it was. They walked us over. We should have just used our ears because the festivities were already started. Chevys arranged all the tables with table cloths. The buffet was set up and my eyes immediately went to the mounds sweet corn tomalito sitting in a flatiron grill with Sterno cans underneath to keep everything warm. The buffet was a rustic setup. They elevate all the food on bricks and place the Sterno cans underneath. Now for vegetarians, we can eat the rice, tortillas, and black beans. They only had pinto beans in the buffet line, but Melissa actually offered to get us black beans to make our meals complete. Super nice. The cheese enchiladas were nice and warm. All you can manage fresh and hot tortillas. I typically cut my cheese enchilada in strips and place them inside my hot flour tortilla to make a hybrid taco of some sort. They provide all the sour cream, pico, and salsa. Chips were kept in warmers. Overall, such a nice event. Melissa made sure the buffet was always full and the chips and tortillas were always flowing. Drink pitchers never left empty. And by the way, Chevys Pepsi somehow is the best. I had a great time and that's probably why I totally failed as a Yelper and didn't take photos. We were loud, but the way the room is somewhat private, nobody seemed to care. Bottom line - super friendly and helpful staff. Food was plentiful and hot. Topped the party off with a personal size flan for dessert and chocolate chip cookies. Plenty of space so you don't feel crowded. Chevys can be a nice spot to host your next larger get together.
